DESCRIPTION: Atop the popular hiking trails of South Mountain Park and Preserve, sits the Gila Valley Lookout. This project included a new ADA compliant parking lot, with sidewalks surrounded with safety guardrails, two new steel shade pavilions for enjoying the views, an additional sitting area, and trailhead entry with concrete seat walls. The project also featured new informative signage, landscaping, and hardscape improvements.
