DESCRIPTION: This Design-Build project included the modernization of the existing space that was used in the provision of medical, dental, pharmacy, and optometry services, and the expansion of the primary care, dental, and administrative support areas. The project was funded by the Pueblo as well as by grant funds from the U.S. Indian Health Service (IHS). The focus of the project was to consolidate and expand the primary care area and to improve patient flow to, and within, the primary care area. In addition to the modernization and expansion of the existing facility, the entire HVAC system were replaced.
