DESCRIPTION: This project was a two-phase effort to convert an existing warehouse building into a food manufacturing and packaging facility. Phase 1 consisted of a 185,000 square foot design-build project that included the interior demolition and renovation of an existing warehouse building into a type F-1 food manufacturing and packaging facility and type B office spaces. Work included new roofing, installing insulated panel partitions, acoustical ceilings, steel truss support system, new wash bay, and new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Exterior improvements included retention basin, new water service, new SRP power service, grease interceptor & PH system with added sewer connection.
Phase 2 was a 30,475 square foot design-build project where Brycon installed a large commercial oven, gas and vent piping as directed by LeClerc Foods. In addition, Brycon completed re-roofing 100,000 square feet of the facility while reinforcing old mechanical equipment from the roof structure. All work was delivered on a three-shift work schedule each week. This project was fast tracked to complete production testing and the startup of the line.
