New Mexico School for the Deaf – Connor Hall Renovation
Brycon completed a major demolition/addition at the historic New Mexico School for the Deaf. The project provided new classroom spaces, art studios, a woodworking shop, welding shop, and open meeting spaces. Challenges included lack of original drawings, asbestos in roof and floors, dated plumbing, lack of structural support, and variation of heights between floors. The renovation to the historic building received LEED Gold Certification.
