DESCRIPTION: Lovelace Health Systems contracted Brycon to perform a remodeling project within the Emergency Department of Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque. The project was performed while the department continued to treat patients.
The two-phase project altered the floor plan of the Emergency Department, converting medical bays, offices, and a waiting area into private treatment rooms, restrooms, new triage room, and storage.
Brycon drew upon its specialized construction expertise to complete the project, which was adjacent to areas continuously occupied by hospital staff and/or patients. Systems were kept operational, and patients were protected against conditions that might compromise their health.
