DESCRIPTION: Deem Hills is a highly utilized City of Phoenix park with mountain trails, a playground, soccer fields, and basketball courts. The project featured expansion to the parking lot and picnic ramada facilities and amenities, 3-miles of interpretive hiking trails, a footbridge crossing, and extension of the current storm drain infrastructure off of the mountain. Scope of work also included competition-ready sand volleyball, tennis, and pickleball courts. The park also received many new full size native trees, plantings, and associated irrigation system extensions to enhance the existing landscape, and provide shade at resting points along the trails.
