CAD Detailer (Building Information Modelling) – (Non-Exempt) – Arizona

Brycon is continually looking for experienced and dedicated individuals who have the desire to work for an exceptional organization.

  • Use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to perform drawing work tasked.
  • Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports and scaling.
  • Ability to demonstrate using basic Revit MEP, AutoCAD, FabCAD tools such as the Project Browser, Properties, Type Selector, Conduit and Cable Tray, and inserting a verity of family types.;
  • Proficient with program: Revit Archi, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, FabCAD MEP.
  • Proficient with program: Navis for checking the model.
  • Able to produce isometric shop drawings within one week upon receiving clash free model and commented drawing.
  • Produce isometric shop drawings as per detail given by engineer/manager.
  • Attention to detail is a must in the production of isometric shop drawings.
  • Ability to follow defined procedures and adapt to procedural changes as required.
  • Monitor isometric shop drawing submission schedule.
  • Report to the manager/engineer in charge and perform work task assigned.
  • Input finishing with more details (if any).
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to learn, have strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, take pride in work and accept responsibility for his/her professionalism.
  • Excellent collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Capable of building trusting relationships, ability and willingness to work independently or in a team atmosphere.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexible, detail-orientated team player with the ability to work in multiple projects while consistently producing quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in both team settings as well as independently.
  • Self-motivated with problem solving skills to identify issues and execute solutions.
  • Quick to learn new software and adapt/define new strategies.
  • Proficient in reading Architectural, Structural, Electrical single lines, Process P&ID’s, and Plumbing drawings and details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES

  • Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
  • Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering financial information into a computer
  • Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand
  • Regularly understand the speech of another person
  • Frequently work in on projects that require deadlines
  • Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds
