OwnerTuba City Regional Health Care Corporation

In early 2014, the Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) broke ground for its new $4.5 million apartment complex. As the Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR), Brycon provided pre-construction services that included design-assist, constructability reviews, estimates, and value engineering during construction. Brycon identified $300,000 in cost savings, thus enabling TCRHCC to provide additional features to the project including upgraded system controls, appliances, and electric and telephone connection fees. With efficient scheduling, Brycon completed the project 45 days early, with quality work and no re-work.
Addressing a pressing need for staff housing, the 31,066 SF facility consists of 36 units in three, two-story buildings. The complex includes two-bedroom and one-bedroom apartments for the use of hospital employees.
Brycon utilized sustainable building materials with the stucco exterior blending with the natural landscape. Each unit is complete with plank flooring, energy efficient appliances, low-water consumption fixtures, and laundry capabilities. Brycon installed all civil and architectural infrastructure.
