Beginning in 2010, Brycon began working with the Hopi Task Force to assist the Hopi Tribe conceptualize their vision to build the Hopi Assisted Living Facility (HALF), for their elderly population. Design and functionality were leading drivers for the $3.5 million design-build project.

The 12,000 SF facility consists of 16 beds, a living room, dining room, custom kitchen, offices and conference rooms. Brycon'a preconstruction team and design re-engineering saved the owners $900,000 from the original budget and increased the floor plan by 4,000 SF.

Energy efficiency features of the facility include:
On-demand, hot water system, supplemented by a solar water system.
A 24 KW solar powered array.
Energy-star rated electrical fixtures/compact fluorescent bulbs.
High-efficiency, two-pipe split units with controls in each room.
High-efficiency insulation and energy efficient glass/ glazing.
Waterless exterior landscaping.
Gutter system for rain barrels.
