Project Superintendent – Nevada

Brycon is continually looking for experienced and dedicated individuals who have the desire to work for an exceptional organization.

To provide on-site coordination for all phases of HEALTHCARE facility tenant improvement construction, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety. Project Superintendent shall schedule all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, as well as ensure their completion of work within time allowed. The Project Superintendent shall be responsible for the coordination of work directed in the field, provide work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Superintendent shall supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a daily basis. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed.

  • Experience with healthcare facilities, preferably hospitals or surgical care centers.
  • Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Mitigation.
  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 15+ subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
  • Communicate using the following tools: telephone, fax machine, written logs, email, computer, cell phones, digital camera.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • Physically lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
  • Monitoring jobsite general health and safety.
  • Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer
  • needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service ; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of three years of verifiable experience, thorough knowledge of trades and be computer literate. Experience in hospital renovation projects is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Project and Outlook) experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • OSHA 30 preferred.
