REQUISITION #: NV-00001 LABORERS, CARPENTER'S HELPER, CARPENTERS, DRYWALL / TAPER, FINISHER AND FOREMEN
Great opportunities are available to qualified employees. Working as a skilled trade employee involves working directly with other members of the construction team in a commercial environment. Successful carpenters must also have strong skills in math, since he/she will estimate and measure to ensure proper dimensions on many aspects of the projects. Those who are learning the trade can work under the direction of a carpenter or foreman. More experienced employees can oversee others by working in foreman positions. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects. Must be familiar with use of hand and power tools. Must be able to pass a background and drug test. OSHA 10 is required.

REQUISITION #: NV-00008 (Reno Area) SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE

The Safety Coordinator will assist the Safety Manager by ensuring that Brycon Corporation meets all safety requirements in the field and all facilities by managing, coordinating, promoting and training all safety activities on a major job site.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports and promotes general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company or field personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Will tour and inspect the job site to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, and report to the safety manager and superintendent recommendations or corrective or preventative measures where indicated.
Will work with outside contractors, on job sites, as directed by the safety manager, in continually assessing organization processes addressing safety issues.
Will maintain knowledge of company's policies and procedures enforcing and supporting them to all co-workers.
Will maintain all site required documentation related to safety issues, i.e. accident reports, inspection reports, training logs.
Review daily job hazard analyses.
Assist employees in providing emergency response, as needed.
Strive for continued growth of your professional knowledge and skills to contribute to the team dynamic.
Assume additional assignments/tasks as needed.
Assists to devise and coordinate training programs or media which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote safety consciousness including working with the safety manager to complete new employee safety training.
Participates in the investigation of accidents and injuries compiling information in preparation of material and evidence for organization use.
Conduct safety meetings and provide on-site safety training.
Maintain excellent field presence to monitor safety performance.
Recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must hold effective people skills, basic communication skills, considerable problem solving skills, and moderate functional knowledge.
Have a strong work ethic and the ability to think critically.
Strong computer skills; must have experience in Microsoft Office and ability to access OSHA information via the internet.
Knowledge of health and safety management systems.
Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards or the state construction safety regulations.
Able to perform onsite job site inspections.
Work with project personnel in a professional and mature manner in order to maintain the integrity of the company and relationships formed therein.
Perform all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company's culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
1-3 years' experience in a construction related field.
Certifications in CPR and First Aid, preferred.
OSHA 10, and 30 required.
OSHA 500 certification training, preferred.

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
As the Senior Project Manager, your primary purpose is to plan, direct and coordinate activities of each construction project to ensure that the goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through others.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Safety Manager in the successful implementation and management of project specific safety programs.
Assist as required for all pre-construction activities, including, business development, estimating and negotiating subcontractor and vendor agreements.
On negotiated design-build projects, assist the design team during the design phase. Identify design inefficiencies and recommend changes to keep project on budget while still meeting the required specifications.
Directly responsible for the developing and maintaining project budgets and schedules.
Oversee and implement the project QA/QC program
Oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, oversight and finalization.
Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring of less experienced members of the team
Manage and oversee Project Engineers as required
Visit project sites to attend progress meetings, monitor progress and verify QA/QC and safety goals are being met
Responsible for Project Cost Control to include reviewing and approval of invoices and time sheets.
Create and submit monthly Applications
Establish project objectives and ensure company policies, procedures, and performance standards are implemented.
Maintain continual open communication with clients, design team, subcontractors and vendors.
Manage all warranty claims for projects

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate);
Post-secondary education in construction or construction related field, B.S. in Construction Management or Project Management is preferred but not required
Must have experience in projects over $10 million
Must have 10 years Project Management experience
LEED certification highly desirable
BIM experience a plus
Must be motivated, self-starter who can work without supervision
Well rounded understanding of all aspects of construction
Superior communication and interpersonal skills required
Multi-task, working on more than one project at a time will be required
Must be competent with the following Technology; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and MS Project. Sage PM Software knowledge a plus
Must have a valid driver license

Location: Regional office located in Albuquerque, NM. Some travel may be involved
